Whether you are just now becoming a Christian, coming back to Christ after a period of doubt, or sorting out a difficult problem, this could be the beginning of a new and enduring relationship with Jesus Christ. Jesus said, "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full" (John 10:10, NIV). God wants you to enjoy a full and rewarding life and has made every provision for this. Here are some basic facts about this life.

We're sorry to hear that finding a church home has been a frustrating experience. Without knowing more about you and your circumstances, it would be difficult to give any specific suggestions. However, we could offer some general ideas.
Throughout my high school years, I've been tested and toyed with by Satan. My sophomore year my father died of cancer. As a result I started to party and involve myself in activities that were far from Christian approval. Now that I've finally graduated as salutatorian of my high school, I realize that I am full of sin. I have asked the Lord to cleanse me of my sins every day. However, I do not feel resolved of my sins. How do I know that He has forgiven me for the past three years?

Your question about how we become the 'one body' which the Bible refers to in 1 Corinthians 12:12 is a good one. The verse reads, 'The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ' (1 Corinthians 12:12).

Giving your life to Jesus and living the Christian life begins with faith and repentance. We must first be clear about who Jesus is and what He has done for us. You must come to a conclusion in your heart that Jesus really is God's Son, and that His death on the cross and resurrection from the dead is what you need to have your sins forgiven and to have right relationship with God.
I have a Christian friend who stole $800 from his work. There is no way he will give it back because he doesn't want to get in trouble because he'd be looking at jail time. Would it be bad to give it to our church in a donation? It is God's, isn't it? He put it in my friends' hands, even if it was through a bad way. My friend has already asked for forgiveness, but he still doesn't know what to do. He keeps joking about using it. I just don't think he should keep the money because it's very easy to tempt him. Please tell me if you can help.

We understand your concern for your friend and what he should do with the money he stole. First, we want to say that we're glad your friend took the very important step of asking God to forgive him. The Bible teaches that God forgives us when we confess our sins to Him. 1 John 1:9 says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness."
