There are many fears that plague Christians in terms of proclaiming the Truth of the Gospel: Rejection. Inability. Discomfort. But, what does the Word of God say about these things? Let's examine how hiding God's Word in our heart sets us free to go into all the World to proclaim this Truth.

The definition from Webster's Dictionary that most clearly reflects what Christians mean when they use the word "cult"? is: "A religion regarded as unorthodox or spurious; also: its body of adherents."
In society today, we are told to "respect" everyone's beliefs which means people look down on us if we even mention Jesus to these people because "we are trying to change them." What advice would you give to students about witnessing to atheists and other groups who think our beliefs are "offensive?"

We need to have respect for those who have religious beliefs other than our own, but this does not mean that we have to agree with those beliefs-and it certainly does not mean that we cannot share our faith in Jesus with them. However, our increasingly pluralistic society would tell us otherwise.
I have a friend who believes in Christ, but she also believes that God has chosen to reveal himself to everyone in different forms, such as Buddhism, Islam, etc. She thinks I am close-minded for believing otherwise. How do I lovingly show her that the only way to the Father is through Jesus?

Perhaps, one reason for the increase in these cults is that the second millennium has just finished. Historians tell us that when each century turns and, especially when each millennium turns, there are movements of people who try to deal with the change by spiritual means. However, their means are not through true Christianity.
